Our History


Over 20 years ago, our founding director was asked to supply a team of security guards for a location in Birmingham. What started as a small, hands-on operation quickly built a reputation for reliability, professionalism, and a no-nonsense approach to safety.

From that first deployment, word of mouth led to new opportunities across the Midlands — and soon, TLG was supporting clients in construction, retail, and events. As demand grew, so did the team, expanding into new regions and developing a broader range of services to meet the needs of a changing industry.

By the early 2010s, TLG had become a trusted provider across the UK, known for its people-first ethos and ability to deliver on complex, high-pressure contracts. Key investments in staff training, operational leadership, and compliance laid the foundation for long-term partnerships and steady, sustainable growth.

What services does TLG provide?

TLG offers tailored concierge security, close protection, and event management services for residential, corporate, hospitality, retail, and private community clients. From front-desk hospitality to crowd control, our teams ensure both safety and seamless guest experiences. However we also offer more services including Event Management, Medical, Fire and Event hire Services.


Where does TLG operate?

We’re proudly based in the West Midlands—serving areas like Birmingham, Wolverhampton, and Walsall. However we provide our services nationwide.


What is the minimum booking duration (for security)?

To guarantee quality deployment, our minimum engagement is 4 hours. This allows sufficient time for site setup, service delivery, and post-event or post-shift wrap-down without compromising staff welfare or operational effectiveness.


How far in advance should I book TLG’s services?

We recommend confirming your booking at least 4–6 weeks before your event or project start date. High-profile or large-scale engagements may require 8–12 weeks’ notice to allow thorough planning, risk assessments, and resource allocation.


What credentials and training do TLG staff hold?

All officers possess valid SIA licences and professional certifications in areas such as conflict resolution, crowd management, emergency first aid, and close protection. We conduct regular in-house drills on evacuation procedures, radio protocols, and customer-service standards.
